High end agency’s new lettings head has 20 years local experience

Savills has announced a new head of its lettings department in its Bishops Park office in Fulham.

Christina McLean steps into the role with seven years’ experience within Savills lettings division having worked her way up from the client services team to negotiator and associate roles in Fulham, Notting Hill and St John’s Wood. This was before her most recent appointment as head of department in Bishops Park.

Having lived in Fulham for over two decades, she has developed what the firm calls “an exceptional knowledge of the area and the lifestyle that’s on offer.”

McLean’s appointment will see her work closely with the firm’s sister office in Parsons Green as together they look to grow market share across W6 and SW6.

She will lead a team working across every level of the prime lettings market, from garden flats through to larger family homes, and will also work with other departments in the firm’s multi-disciplinary office.

Gross yields across South West London have pushed out to 3.8 per cent on average and almost 4.5 per cent for flats.

McLean comments: “Growing up, living and now working in Fulham has given me a really detailed knowledge of the area and I am looking forward to using that skill to grow our market share and continue to build, maintain and nurture relationships with both landlords and tenants.”

And Amelia Greene,  deputy head of Savills lettings division, adds: “Hyperlocal expertise of an area is a hugely important asset to have when stepping into a head of department role and Christina has that in spades.

“Her encyclopaedic knowledge of Fulham and the surrounding areas will certainly pay dividends when it comes to securing new business and I am certain she will be an asset to our thriving lettings business in the capital.”
